Our community youth group is a place where all youth from the Turpin community are welcome! We have teens that participate from several churches in the area, but if you're in grade 7-12 we for sure want you to come hang out with us (regardless of if you go to church somewhere or not).

We strive to be a catalyst for teens looking to growing deeper in their faith. There is a place for everyone around our table, and we want our teens to feel at home as they navigate their own relationship with Jesus. 

 

We know not everyone's faith journey is in the same spot. So we encourage our teens to ask questions, and to seek out what they believe for themselves. Our leaders believe there are no stupid questions!

We love Jesus, and believe that actively living out his words + commands help us grow and draw us nearer to Him.

We love to have fun + take trips! Once a month we do something totally un-church related that just allows us to just hang out, have fellowship, and strengthen our group's sense of unity.  Sweetheart Bowl, The Corn Maze, Super Slip N Slide, End of Summer Pool Party, & The Neon Glow Party . . . are just a few of the fun events / trips we've done in the last year.

We play hard, but we also love hard! We love to have fun, but we also believe it's crucial to be the hands and feet of Jesus. So once a month we put the scriptures into action & complete what we call a "LOVE project".  Because we believe that Jesus' two greatest commandments are 1) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 2) Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matt. 22:37-38)
